OUR STORY
Welcome to Green Sun Orchard. We are a small family-owned Orchard in Trout Creek, New York. On our farm, we grow a selection of heirloom apples and a variety of fruits. Along with our heritage apples we also produce hard cider. Our line of skillfully fermented ciders is made from apples grown or found on our farm. As we patiently wait for our orchard to mature we are using mostly apples that were farmed by previous owners. Though the apples aren’t the most favored varieties we are making a cider enjoyed by all. In addition to our apples, we grow blueberries, peaches, and plums.
Nestled in the Western Border of Delaware County, our farm is in a Village known to the locals as the Peaceful Valley. Although our farm is small we are aiming to grow some of the lost heirloom cider apples as well as some of more known local favorites. By using the Integrated Fruit Production we hope to produce a high-quality tasting fruit that will be enjoyed by all.
